All of my Personal Training programs begin with an initial consultation; during which we will discuss your goals and preferences, history of health and fitness, barriers faced, and past successes! Based on your objectives and individual circumstances, we will then collaborate to create an exercise and/or diet programme suited to you.
Although my main speciality is in helping individuals realise increases in strength/muscle and lose fat, I also have years of experience in callisthenics and sport-specific training; so whatever your objective is, I can very likely help you achieve it! While I don’t believe there is any ‘wrong’ way of exercising, I am eager to help you get where you want to be in the most effective, safe, and enjoyable way possible. All of my PT sessions are based on the latest science, and designed to teach you good techniques and principles which will stick with you throughout the rest of your journey in exercise.
The sessions run for 60 minutes at a time (check out the ‘Location and Timing’ and ‘Pricing’ pages for further info!), during which you can expect to be challenged and pushed beyond your comfort zone. I don’t believe in the boot-camp army sergeant style of training, but do believe that with outside motivation we can all push ourselves that crucial bit further than we can by ourselves. Especially if you have a limited schedule within which to exercise each week, we’ll work together to dial up the intensity and get the most possible out of every workout.
The emphasis on sound technique and high intensity (where necessary) makes my sessions ideal for both beginners and intermediates to exercise – whether you’re just starting out or have hit a plateau in your gains, you can expect to be making substantial progress starting soon!
Diet and exercise are of course inseparable; especially if your focus is on muscle gain and fat loss. If you’re looking to address the quality and or/quantity of what you eat and drink, we’ll work on that together to create digestible but significant changes. From lived experience, I am also highly aware of how a health-conscious relationship with food can rapidly become a toxic one – if you don’t want to calorie count or cut out all the things you enjoy, you won’t have to!
If this sounds like a style of training which you would enjoy and suit your circumstances, go ahead and book your FREE initial consultation here!
